This project required a carefully orchestrated schedule with multiple groups to ensure the loads kept moving. We provided a detailed physical route survey from Snowflake, AZ all the way tot he Texas border. We had to receive releases from all of the electric, phone, and cable companies along the route through New Mexico. We collaborated and received clearance from the NewMexico DOT agency head to travel through a construction zone. We scheduled all police appointments through Arizona and New Mexico. On the morning of August 26, we pulled out of Snowflake with 6 Arizona state police escorts and 2 bucket trucks. There were 3 New Mexico state police and 3 New Mexico utility bucket trucks waiting at the state line that escorted us to San Antonio, NM. At the start of day 2, the railroad company met us to remove an arm, and 3 new police escorts joined us. We came intoHobbs with 5 bucket trucks, and 3 New Mexico state police escorts, we were met there, without stopping, by 2 Hobbs city police. We rolled through all the way to the Texas state line without a hitch. During the 2-day AZ-NM move, we were in constant contact with all involved parties. We arrived at our final destination of LaPorte, TX at 3:00 p.m., Friday, August 30–as guaranteed.
